Climate change remains a huge issue for many, with over half (57 per cent) of British homeowners stating that it’s one of the most pressing issues of our time

Brits are keen to make green changes to their homes to fight climate change but many are worried that they won’t save enough on bills to be worth the investment, according to a new report.

While a whopping 80 per cent of Brits are willing to make green upgrades to their home to help do their bit for climate change, the red tape that surrounds how to do it and what help they can get leaves many homeowners stumped, with 56 per cent saying they find the Government’s system of grants and subsidies difficult to understand.

Insulation and triple-glazing are the top choices when it comes to green upgrades, which shows most homeowners are keen to explore familiar and affordable options.
