KUALA LUMPUR: Police here have seized drugs worth close to RM2mil in an operation in the Klang Valley on Monday , says city police chief Comm Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa.
“Following their arrest, the police were then brought to a house in Cheras Perdana in Selangor. The premise is believed to have been used as a storehouse for the drugs,” he said. “It is believed that the group would obtain their supply overseas before using houses to store them before selling them within the Klang Valley,” he said, adding that the drugs seized are valued at RM1.6mil.
In an unrelated case, Comm Rusdi said that police have been deployed at the Masjid India sinkhole area as repair works begin.
