KUALA LUMPUR: The police are on the hunt for an individual who had thrown liquor bottles from a high-rise in Kampung Baru onto a nearby expressway.

Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Noor Dellhan Yahaya said police had taken note of the one-minute, 43-second video, which was uploaded to TikTok on Thursday .

"The video showed a man throwing liquor bottles from a balcony of an apartment onto a nearby expressway. "Initial investigations revealed the incident occurred at Jalan Cendana, Kampung Baru," he said in a statement on Friday ."We urge those with information to come forward to assist the investigation.ACP Noor Dellhan advised the public not to be involved with any incident that is against the law.

"Those with information can contact the Dang Wangi district police headquarters at 03-2600 2222 or the KL police hotline at 03-2115 9999 or any nearest police station."
