Cops nab man, woman over alleged fraud
PENANG police yesterday arrested a man and a woman, aged 56 and 57, for allegedly committing fraud.
“Preliminary investigations found the male suspected of duping victims in land purchases while the woman is suspected of being the mule account holder of a syndicate involved in the buying and selling of coins online. Both suspects have been remanded for four days to assist in investigations under section 420 of the penal code for cheating.
