PETALING JAYA: The police have denied a news report claiming caretaker Kedah menteri besar Sanusi Nor was arrested this evening.

Bukit Aman corporate communications head A Skandaguru said Sanusi was neither arrested nor had been called in to give a statement to the police. Earlier, Astro Awani quoting a source, reported that Sanusi, the Perikatan Nasional election director, was arrested.
