IPOH: A 17-year-old has been arrested by the police here for allegedly murdering his friend.
Hilir Perak OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Adnan Basri said the deceased has been identified as a 21-year-old man who was found murdered on Aug 20.“The reason for the crime is due to jealousy. The suspect killed the man as he was jealous because the victim had been disturbing his 20-year-old girlfriend,” he added.
This comes after ACP Ahmad Adnan said last Thursday that the body of a man with no documents was found in a drain at Jalan Pasir Kampung Sungai Payung Baroh in Rungkup. “There were various injuries on his hands, legs and neck and the body was decomposed; the identity could not be ascertained then,” said ACP Ahmad Adnan.
