“It is completely unacceptable that Equinor is planning to build 100 per cent of the floating production, storage and offloading platform outside the province," Brazil stated."Newfoundland and Labrador is home to talented and hardworking tradespersons and local companies who are well positioned to work on this project.”
“This is a file that’s not done. We are actively engaged in negotiations with the company. There is no plan by anyone to do everything outside the province. I’m certainly not going to negotiate in public, I don’t think that’s to the betterment of anyone, there’s no need to get alarmed or to get upset yet,” Parsons said.
