Work on connecting the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link to Singapore's Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) will commence in 2025 at the Woodlands North station. The project is nearing completion, with more than 80% of civil infrastructure works in Singapore already finished.
Construction to connect the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link to Singapore's Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) will begin at Woodlands North station in 2025. The connection will take place at basement 1 of the existing station. More than 80% of the civil infrastructure works in Singapore have been completed, with the remaining works including architectural, road, and electrical installations, as well as the installation of immigration gates.
The 4km RTS Link is scheduled to start operations by late 2026, aiming to reduce traffic congestion at the Causeway
