An Indigenous Voice to Parliament making recommendations to every part of federal government creates potential for those recommendations to be “litigated if they are rejected”, says Former prime minister John Howard.

“Greg Craven, somebody who supports the Voice, said that the form announced by Mr Albanese a day or so ago is about the worst possible form.”

Mr Howard said support for the Voice will “continue to drop” and the issues facing Indigenous Australians are only solved pragmatically by governments intervening where necessary.
