“[Wednesday] sticks to her guns, and she’s not out to please anybody. Which, as someone who used to be an immense people pleaser, I really respect,” said Ortega about the announcement of more “torture” for her. According to Netflix, “Wednesday” has become one of the successful shows on Netflix, ranking second on the Most Popular TV list with 1.237 billion hours viewed in its first 28 days on the platform.
In addition, its soundtrack grabbed the No. 1 spot on iTunes Soundtrack chart where it remained in the Top 10 for three weeks. Wednesday Addams, the artist, now has over one million followers on Spotify.
