Picture: Asanka Ratnayake / Getty Images “There was a concerted effort to ensure that there was no accountability for the collision,” Mr Glare claimed. “And the whole matter was written off without the proper interview of witnesses, without measurements, without adequate photographs. Well, any without any real investigation by just after 6pm that night.”
“Now, there's been no adequate investigation, I understand that Victoria Police said today the matter had been investigated, the investigation was overseen by the Anti-Corruption Commission and that there was nothing to see.” Mr Andrews and his wife Catherine, who was listed as the driver of the car when the crash occurred, issued a joint statement on Tuesday responding to Dr Shuey’s report.
