All commercial vehicles in Sabah and Labuan are required to install a global positioning system (GPS) starting March 15.

The regulation set by the Sabah Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board is also implemented on any commercial vehicle from outside Sabah that wants to operate in Sabah.

In a statement, Friday, the Board said the implementation of the regulation will be done in stages where in the first phase, all holders of express bus licence, Carrier Licence A and Carrier Licence C are required to install the GPS devices.
