THE Commission on Elections is confident that the 2025 midterm elections will be the most transparent and credible electoral exercise in the country's history.The Comelec will be holding three elections in 2025. To be held alongside the national elections is the first parliamentary elections in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao , while the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election will be in December.
The contract covered 19 terms of reference , which serves as a guide to the winning bidder on the kind of system that the Comelec needs in the 2025 elections.Miru Systems will also set up regional hubs in all 82 provinces in the country to handle defective or damaged ACMs.Garcia said the ACMs were all new.Comelec spokesman John Rex Laudiangco said the system had enough safeguards against cyberattacks.
