Students and families accepted into CNC programs invited to check out campuses before they go back to school
The choice to attend college is big step for new students and the College of New Caledonia is putting on an open house event to help them make that adjustment.
Open to students already accepted into CNC programs and their families, the aim is to familiarize open-house attendees with campus facilities and introduce the support programs in place for students, including academic advising, accessibility supports, financial aid, student housing, admissions, and resources/liaison for Indigenous students, student housing and admissions.
“We can’t wait to welcome community members to all our campuses,” said Carter-Rose. “No matter where you are in the application process, attending an open house is a great way to create an initial connection and sense of belonging with the campus and faculty.”
