Every World Cup, we see young players emerge as stars on the international stage, making headlines and shining in the brightest spotlight.

Already one of the highest-rated youngsters in the world, Bellingham has only seen his stock rise with his outstanding performances in Qatar. At just 19 years old, the Borussia Dortmund midfielder became the youngest-ever English player to assist in a World Cup match. He also scored in the group stage and has started all four games for the Three Lions and is drawing comparisons to Dutch legend Ruud Gullit for his all-around skill from pundits like former England star Ian Wright.

Perhaps the most unfortunate part about Germany’s early exit is that we won’t get to see Musiala’s fancy footwork on the ball anymore. The Bayern Munich youngster was one of the most exciting players in the group stage with the ball at his feet and was a key part of the German attack, despite only recording one assist. At just 19 years old, Musiala will be a key part of Die Mannschaft for many tournaments to come – hopefully with much better results.
