By March of this year, the applicants sought to discontinue proceedings, after an individual known only as “the funder” stopped backing the suit., who’s often acted for Palmer, fought to maintain the billionaire’s confidentiality after providing the judge with a copy of the agreement disclosing his identity.
It’s a curious argument, especially given Palmer’s support for fruity political causes and staunch opposition to COVID vaccines are well-documented.
