KUALA LUMPUR: The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry will look into a tourist’s allegation that he was charged RM120 for a haircut in a barber shop around Bukit Bintang here.
said if the allegation turned out to be true, stern action would be taken against the barber for violating the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering Act 2011.
The incident went viral after a couple from England uploaded a 2min, 15sec TikTok video showing them engaged in a dispute with a barber after being charged RM120 for a haircut.
