New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Hipkins says there is an “immense opportunity” for New Zealand and Australia to strengthen their collaboration on climate change.
“We believe that working together to combat climate change globally and especially in our region is critical,” Mr Hipkins said during a joint press conference.
“It’s the single greatest existential threat to our livelihoods, security and wellbeing of our Pacific partners.”
