A Halifax Regional Police news release said officers responded at 7:04 a.m. to a report of a robbery at the Needs convenience store at 6130 Chebucto Rd.The employee suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and the suspect fled on foot. Police said the suspect was described as a white woman in her 20s with tattoos on both side of her neck. She was wearing a black toque, black hoodie, grey sweatpants and white shoes.
