Quezon City Councilor Don De Leon takes his Oath of Office before Supreme Court Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo. Among his priority legislation is the enactment of a Local Hiring Ordinance, wherein the workforce of QC businesses will employ 30 percent of people from the barangay where they are located, given that they are evenly qualified among other prospective applicants.
Also, De Leon aims for the establishment of a QC Health Card for all residents of QC, which is insurance-based and subject to the availability of city funds.
