They appointed Ms. Tracy Adams to the post, effective Tuesday, following Monday night’s council meeting.
Adams has worked for the city since 2005 in various leadership roles, including Director of Corporate Communications and most recently as the Commissioner of the Corporate Services Department for more than four years. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Masters of Business Administration degree as well as an Accredited Business Communicator designation from the International Association of Business Communicators.
“On behalf of city council, I am pleased to announce Ms. Tracy Adams as the City’s new CAO,” said Oshawa Mayor Dan Carter. “Ms. Adams is an exceptional leader who has a passion for public service and for delivering service excellence to the community. Ms. Adam’s leadership style and experience will guide the entire corporation and lead the great City of Oshawa in its next exciting chapter.
