City council presents food baskets to 12 low-income families in Subang Jaya

The programme was part of MBSJ’s efforts to engage the local community and carry out its responsibility to “leave no one behind”.

The local council collaborated with its partners, the Selangor Welfare Department and Aeon BIG Subang Jaya, to assist a dozen families living in SS19 and USJ8.

Six of those families stay at the low-cost flats in Jalan SS19/7A while the other six live in Pangsapuri Court 4 in USJ8. The programme was part of MBSJ’s efforts to engage the local community and carry out its responsibility to “leave no one behind”, in this case to help the needy ahead of the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
