CIMB Bank Berhad (CIMB) has partnered with Payments Network Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (PayNet) to launch Malaysia's first payment terminal with automated e-invoicing capabilities. This innovation aims to streamline invoicing processes and ensure smooth compliance with the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN)'s e-invoicing mandate for businesses, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The bank is currently piloting the service with selected merchants and plans a full rollout by the second quarter of 2025.
