New South Wales Treasurer Daniel Mookhey said he applauds NSW Premier Chris Minns for taking “responsible steps” to save the public money, by cancelling the light show. “All savings as Treasurer, big and small, are most welcome,” Mr Mookhey told Sky News Australia. “The Premier made clear at the time, the reasons why the government made that decision. “I think we got the balance right.”
