PETALING JAYA: Former great Lee Chong Wei has urged current national men’s singles shuttler Ng Tze Yong to grab the opportunity to qualify for his first Olympics.
“The Olympics is special as it’s once every four years. It’s also every athlete’s dream to play in the Olympics,” said Chong Wei. “I decided myself that my wax figure will wear the T-shirt and shorts that I wore when I played in my last Olympics in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro. “But I managed to qualify for the Olympics and if I could do so, nothing is stopping Tze Yong from doing the same as he is ranked No. 28 now.
