Liberal Senator Alex Antic says the Chinese Communist Party’s regime will continue to “use and abuse” Australia like a pawn.

“We want to be trading, we want to be doing business and I know there is a lot of industry that is relying on that, but we have to be diversified on these issues,” he told Sky News host Gary Hardgrave.

“This is a little bit like a bad breakup, all of a sudden we think because we are talking to them again it is all going to be alright – it is not.”
