China playing ‘sinister’ role in Australia’s education

The role played by the Chinese government in Australia’s education has been very bad and “sinister”, The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says.

He said the “chief culprits” are Australia’s universities, which have allowed Chinese-funded courses and the Confucian institutes to flourish.

“Chinese Australians are our wonderful citizens, and they need to be protected from the foreign government, which is the government of China,” Mr Sheridan told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
