KUALA LUMPUR: The Chinese Embassy in Malaysia on Wednesday marked the 49th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia by opening an official TikTok account.
In the one-minute first Tiktok video that begins with remarks from the Chinese Ambassador Ouyang Yujing, the Embassy highlighted the history of the long standing relations between both countries.
"China and Malaysia are good neighbours, good friends and good partners. For 49 years, China and Malaysia had been through thick and thin together and have been striving for win-win situation,” it said. The video also quoted the Malay proverbs"Air dicincang tidak akan putus” and"Bagai aur dan tebing” to vividly describe the two countries’ friendship.
"May the China and Malaysia friendship continue to flourish,” Ouyang said ending the video. - Bernama
