Police are searching for a stolen U-Haul truck rented in Charlottetown. - File PhotoCHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Charlottetown police are investigating the theft of a U-Haul moving truck rented in the city.

Police said the vehicle was rented on Dec. 2 from the U-Haul business on Capital Drive in Charlottetown. The truck has not been returned and is considered stolen. The vehicle is a 2017 Ford F650 enclosed 26-foot truck. It had the Arizona license plate AH27574 at the time it was stolen. Anyone with information about the theft or any sightings of the truck can contact police at 902-629-4172 or tip anonymously to P.E.I. Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
