For the first time since the coronation night, Cortesi shared her thoughts on Instagram by reposting the words of Canadian author Bianca Sparacino about finding happiness within oneself, with a line saying“Happiness was always about being kinder to yourself; it was always about embracing the person you were becoming.
One day, you will understand that happiness was always about learning to live with yourself, that your happiness was never in the hands of others… it was always about you,” Sparacino’s post read, which Cortesi posted on her Instagram Stories.Many pageant observers were dismayed after Cortesi failed to get into the Top 16 of the Miss Universe 2022, thereby breaking the country’s 12-year streak of being in the semifinals.
