MANILA -- Cebu Pacific said Friday it raised over $1 million from spare change donated by passengers and staff as part of its initiative to help improve the health and nutrition of Filipino children.
The country's largest carrier said the "Change for Good" initiative also marked the fourth year of its partnership with the United Nations Childrens Fund .
Under the project, passengers are encouraged to help fund UNICEF's First 1,000 days health and nutrition program for young kids through donations, the statement said.
