Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia has filed lawsuits against the National Museum of the Philippines (NMP) and former owners of the stolen pulpit panels from Boljoon Church. The lawsuit seeks the return of four pulpit panels, which were reportedly stolen in the 1980s and donated to the NMP last year. The Archdiocese of Cebu claims ownership of the panels and has authorized Garcia to represent them in legal proceedings.
