The Land Transportation Office (LTO) 7 issued a Show Cause Order (SCO) to the driver of an SUV involved in a vehicular accident on Christmas Day in Naga City, Cebu. The accident resulted in the death of a 6-year-old girl and her father who were riding a motorcycle. The LTO 7 ordered the driver to appear at their Operations Division in Cebu City to explain the incident. The driver may face license suspension or revocation after facing reckless driving charges based on initial investigations. The LTO 7 emphasizes road safety, particularly during the holiday season, urging drivers to avoid driving if they are tired or have consumed alcohol.

Sa gipagawas nga press release niadtong Sabado, Disyembre 28, ang LTO 7 nimando base sa SCO ngadto sa drayber-suspek nga personal motunga sa buhatan sa LTO Operations Division sa Cebu City aron nga mohatag sa iyang habig ug sa hinungdan nga iyang nadasmagan ang usa ka pamilya samtang sakay sa ilang motorsiklo. Sa sayo pa, ang maong insidente nga naglambigit sa Ford Explorer SUV nga nagdala sa plate number GAT 3405, nagresulta sa pagkamatay sa naasoy’ng biktima, samtang samdan ang inahan nga angkas sab sa maong motorsiklo sa dihang nakasugat sa maong trahedya.
