A man in his 20s was approached by men armed with knives in central Sydney in July.
Shortly after 3am on Saturday, July 29, police were called to Oxford Street in Surry Hills after reports of a stabbing.
A 25-year-old man outside a nightclub was reportedly approached by a number of men armed with knives, and stabbed multiple times.A 34-year-old man who tried to help the victim was also stabbed.The younger stabbing victim was driven to hospital by friends, while paramedics treated the older man and took him to hospital.Both have since been released from care. Police say they are not known to each other.
