The Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) has pledged commitment to youth development through training on digital marketing skills
This is to ensure the youths are at par with the evolving trend and to create opportunities to leverage skills for economic development.Speaking at a media parley to commemorate the church’s 70th anniversary, Harvest Chairman, Gbenga Adebayo, said, “We want to teach them how to catch fish and not hand it over to them. We would show them how to use the skills they have acquired to get the needed finance.
“We don’t want to embark on a project that won’t be useful to the community. They have told us they have issues with the quality of water and education. We are partnering with Local Council Development Area to do a legacy project for the community.”Another activity lined up for the anniversary is free medical outreach for the community, which would give the community access to free drugs, eye check-ups, and free glasses.
