Siaja has a big heart and bigger aspirations for her family and town. She jumps in with both feet at the local community centre with her friends, Millie and radio D.J. Colin , to liven things up under the judgmental eye of elder Elisapee , a residential school survivor who's also a hardcore Christian.To add to the turmoil, Alistair , a handsome new visitor — with a secret connection to her past — shows up in town along with a super hot young assistant, Kuuk .

The show was created by Nunavut's own Stacey Aglok MacDonald and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril. "This is a warm, aspirational and lighthearted show," says MacDonald, "but there are definitely some moments where shit gets real, and handle it with such humanity."is about community, something everyone can relate to, says executive producer Miranda de Pencier: "Community is really everything.
