Jarrett Allen scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 129-122 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder in a matchup of the NBA 's top two teams on Wednesday. Evan Mobley added 21 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists for Cleveland, which extended its winning streak to 11 games and improved to 11-0 against Western Conference opponents.
Oklahoma City, which entered the game with a franchise-record 15-game winning streak, was led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with 31 points and Jalen Williams with 25 points and nine assists. Darius Garland scored 18 points and Max Strus hit five 3-pointers for 17 points off the bench for the Cavaliers. Ty Jerome added 15 points and Donovan Mitchell had 11 despite making just three of 16 shots. The Thunder had gone undefeated since Dec. 1 at the Houston Rockets and were 11-1 against Eastern Conference foes. The Cavaliers held a 125-122 lead before successfully challenging a foul called on Mitchell with 1:19 remaining. Officials ruled Mitchell did not make enough contact to warrant a foul while vying for a rebound, allowing Cleveland to keep possession. Mobley made a running jumper in the lane and Garland added a finger roll layup with 27.1 seconds left to seal the win.
