There is an easy solution to the NRL’s problem of stars resting en masse in the last round: cash.
The minor premiers receive $200,000 for finishing top of the table. It’s up from $100,000 last year, but it’s still nowhere near enough. Cody Walker has to have a big game. With Latrell Mitchell out, this is his time to drag the Rabbitohs into the finals. I wish this game was at Allianz Stadium rather than Accor Stadium.
