The anti-hero and leader of the Pink Ladies, Betty Rizzo, was stunningly portrayed by Anna Hopkins with their strong vocals and consistent character mannerisms. In their solo “There Are Worse Things I Could Do”, they belted the words powerfully, communicating their character’s heartfelt storyline with every note. Hopkins had a bold stage presence, showcased by the continuity of their character’s prideful posture and open movement across the stage.

Although the band at times overpowered the vocalists, they always played as a synchronous, musically balanced group.
Sam Sheahan and Isabelle Strachan charmed in their respective roles as Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski. The actors complemented each other in a manner that brought out the juxtaposing personalities of their characters; Sheahan’s alluring charisma and boastful voice paired well with the natural timidity and subtle enchantment of Strachan’s demeanour. Strachan brought both sweetness and sorrow to their rendition of “Hopelessly Devoted,” which emanated palpable feelings of attachment and longing.
