Meanwhile, on the ice, Jeremy Langlois, Charles Boutin, Samuel Johnson, and Jordan Cote each netted goals for the Eagles , who have won two straight games after beating the Halifax Mooseheads 5-4 in Sydney on Friday night.Read more After a scoreless first period, Cape Breton opened the scoring at 5:15 of the second period with Langlois firing home his second goal of the season, which was followed by power play markers from Boutin and Johnston, sending the club into the intermission with a 3-0 lead.
Cape Breton outshot Saint John 39-24 while going 2-for-7 on the power play. Saint John was 0-for-6 with the man-advantage.
