SYDNEY, N.S. — Two Cape Breton County Islanders' teams will share the hosting rights of this year's under-13 'C' Cape Breton Cup championship tournament. The tournament begins on Thursday with Cape Breton County No. 1 playing Northside at 5 p.m. and Cape Breton County No. 2 facing Glace Bay at 6 p.m. at the Cape Breton County Recreation Centre in Coxheath.
The event continues on Friday with Glace Bay at Northside at 5 p.m. followed by Cape Breton County No. 2 versus Sydney at 6 p.m.The round robin finishes on Sunday with Baddeck and Glace Bay at 3 p.m. The semifinal games will be later in the day at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. and the championship is scheduled for 7 p.m.It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
