HALIFAX, N.S. – The Cape Breton Capers men’s and women’s basketball teams began the 2023-24 Atlantic University Sport regular season with wins on Friday.Tyson Cato led the way with 20 points, while Justus Peuser had 18 points and Mitchell Mersereau had 12 points.
Meanwhile, in the women’s division, Cape Breton beat Dalhousie 67-54. The attendance was not available.
