Cape Breton Capers basketball teams to begin 2024-25 AUS season at home in November

SYDNEY – The Cape Breton Capers men’s and women’s basketball teams will begin the 2024-25 Atlantic University Sport season on the comforts of home court in November.

On the men’s side, Cape Breton will face the defending league champion Dalhousie Tigers on Nov. 15-16 in Halifax. The teams will also play on Feb. 14-15 in Sydney. The University of British Columbia will host both the men’s and women’s U Sports national championships. The tournaments are slated for March 13-16.

As for women’s volleyball, the season will begin on Oct. 25 with Dalhousie hosting New Brunswick and Memorial hosting Moncton in St. John’s, N.L.
