SYDNEY, N.S. – The Cape Breton Capers used a two-goal first half on their way to advancing to the Atlantic University Sport women’s soccer championship game.
Capers goalkeeper Ellie Lancaster was the difference in the final 45-plus minutes, making several key saves to keep her team in the lead. The Capers were first to hit the board with Rowe scoring her first goal of the tournament in the ninth minute, but shortly after, Longley would tie the game at one in the 10th minute.
