Canva gives teachers premium access and training for free

STARTING this November, public school teachers and staff across the Philippines will receive free access and training on Canva for Education, thanks to a partnership between the Department of Education and Canva Philippines. Education Secretary Sonny Angara signed the agreement to enhance digital creativity in classrooms and provide teachers with interactive learning tools.

Canva for Education, a free visual communication platform for K to 12 schools, offers teachers and students premium features to create, collaborate, and communicate visually. The phased rollout will begin with select teachers and central staff, expanding to all 17 regions by January 2025.With Canva for Education, users can access thousands of templates and interactive tools, fostering digital and design literacy.
