Tocchet’s initial assessments aren’t far out of line from his predecessor’s either. On the season, Kuzmenko has averaged 12:53 of 5-on-5 ice time. But, since Christmas, even Bruce Boudreau was playing Kuzmenko less at 5-on-5: In that time he’s played just 12:12 per game. But to query Tocchet’s rationale more fully will have to wait until the Canucks come home, when more reporters are present.
