His offensive production has him being mentioned along the likes of Orr, Coffey, Bourque and Potvin, drawing headlines.“Defensively, I’ve been trusted against the top lines and … anyone that says I’m a defensive liability, frankly doesn’t watch me play at this point,” he said earlier this week. He drew praise on Hockey Night In Canada last weekend for being willing to block shots, though his shot-blocking rate isn’t actually all that special.
