Enthusiasm and passion was once again on display from the Canucks on Saturday night at Rogers Arena as the home team beat the red-hot Ottawa Senators 5-2. The Canucks skated hard and stood tall against an early physical push by the Senators and then counterpunched with such fervour the Senators looked like they were standing still until very late in the game.
The chances and shots were relatively even all night, but the Canucks took theirs even better and Thatcher Demko, once again, looked calm as a cucumber.
