A Canberra tradie is denied bail for allegedly repeatedly hitting a client who recorded their conversation about defects in work done on his house, before hitting him with his ute.
A Canberra tradie has been denied bail over an alleged assault on a customer who recorded their conversation about defects in work done on his house.
Geoffrey Lloyd Stephen Calvert, 33, faced the ACT Magistrates Court charged with assault, furious driving and burglary. After the 45-minute inspection, Mr Calvert put his ladder on his ute and then returned to the house where he rang the bell, before demanding to know if the conversation had been recorded.
