Just weeks out from the October election, the Canberra Liberals have dumped MLA Elizabeth Kikkert, saying they acted on allegations about donations and electoral expenditure obligations and 'workplace behaviour''.

The Canberra Liberals have disendorsed sitting Ginninderra MLA Elizabeth Kikkert as a candidate for the October ACT election.

The statement alleged the decision was related to disclosure obligations for donations and electoral expenditure, and "Mrs Kikkert's behaviour towards employees", which allegedly "exposed the party to potential workplace claims"."As the public statement has indicated, there were two major factors,'' Ms Lee said.

"In taking the decision, the Liberal Party also took into account conduct which had exposed the Party to potential workplace claims as a result of Mrs Kikkert's behaviour towards employees," the statement said.
